East Liverpool Municipal

In Municipal Court Wednesday, Kenneth P. Swoger, 56, Sophia Street, was fined $50 for intoxication.

Pretrials were scheduled for Carlos E. Lujano, 20, Warren, charged with domestic violence, Jan. 28; Isaac L. Lemasters, 46, Salineville Road, Salineville, theft, March 3; and Tina L. Smith, 40, Salineville Road, Salineville, complicity to theft, March 3.

In Municipal Court Thursday, Jordan D. Wright, 26, Amsterdam, was fined $1,075, sentenced to 180 days, 120 suspended, had his license suspended five years and was placed on probation three years for OVI, sixth offense. For leaving the scene, he was fined $250 and placed on probation three years. He was fined $75 for driving under suspension and $65 for failure to control.

Alexander J. Menough, 19, Alton Street, was fined $200, sentenced to 30 days, suspended, and was placed on probation two years for domestic violence. For discharging a firearm, he was fined $200, and for failure to control, $65.

Michael F. Earich, 42, Lisbon Street, was sentenced to 180 days and had his license suspended 180 days for abusing harmful intoxicants. For resisting arrest, he was sentenced to 30 days, and for obstructing official business, to 10 days. A second charge of obstructing official business was dismissed.

Douglas P. Brayshaw Jr., 27, Negley, was fined $150, sentenced to 30 days, 25 suspended, and placed on probation two years for theft. A charge of possession of criminal tools was dismissed.

Dustin C. Brayshaw, 22, Steubenville-Pike Road, Lisbon, was fined $150, sentenced to 30 days, 25 suspended, and placed on probation two years for theft. A charge of possession of criminal tools was dismissed.

Charges of criminal damaging and obstructing official business were dismissed against Edward M. Stasik, 46, Pittsburgh, after the prosecution was unable to get the alleged victim into court.

Charles L. Bailey, 42, East Lincoln Way, Lisbon, was fined $100, sentenced to 90 days, 80 suspended, and placed on probation three years, each, on charges of possession of drug abuse instruments and falsification. For each of two counts of passing bad checks, he was fined $75 and placed on probation three years. For driving under suspension, he was fined $75. Bailey was assigned 46 hours of community service in lieu of his fines.

A jury trial was set March 10 for Jennifer E. Jackson, 32, Foulks Drive, charged with OVI and a stop sign violation.

In East Liverpool Municipal Court Friday, Michael A. Mitchell, 42, Mill Street, Salineville, was fined $105 for driving under suspension-license forfeiture and display of license plate.

A Feb. 17 pretrial was set for Ryan D. White, 38, Church Street, East Liverpool, who pleaded not guilty to failure to yield at a stop sign and failure to yield at a left turn, stemming from a traffic accident on Irish Ridge Road in St. Clair Township on Jan. 13.

A Feb. 5 pretrial was set for Shawn A. Quimby, 28, Echo Dell Road, East Liverpool, who pleaded not guilty to driving under suspension-FRA and a stop sign violation, stemming from a stop on Walnut Street in East Liverpool on Jan. 21.

A Feb. 23 trial was set for Alexis N. Harrison, 22, St. Clair Avenue, East Liverpool, who pleaded not guilty to possession of marijuana, for which she was cited on Jan. 25.

A Feb. 3 sentencing date was set for Karl W. Sayre, 64, Fourth Street, Wellsville, who pleaded guilty to charges of theft.

Notices were sent and bench warrants were issued for the following people, who failed to appear for their respective charges: Emma J. George, 25, McClain Road, Wellsville, seat belt violation; Shannon M. Sipes, 31, Holliday Street, East Liverpool, no operators license; Samuel J. Earich, 19, Jefferson Street, Salineville, OVI first offense, OVI underage .02-.08, driving under suspension-non-compliance, expired tags and a tail light violation.

East Liverpool Municipal

In Municipal Court Tuesday, Sherri A. Hull, 53, East Ninth Street, was sentenced to five days for theft.

James A. Moore, 27, Echo Dell Road, was fined $75, each, on two counts of driving under suspension and $65 for failure to control.

Tyler J. Davis, 23, Beacon Light Road, Lisbon, was fined $35 for passing on a double yellow line.

Pretrials were scheduled for Stephen Lee, 45, East Sixth Street, charged with a housing code violation, Feb. 16 and Austin R. Young, 21, Vine Street, Salem, charged with driving under suspension, March 3.

East Liverpool Municipal

In East Liverpool Municipal Court Monday, Michael T. Miller, 36, Lincoln Avenue, East Liverpool, was fined $815 and sentenced to six days in jail and two years probation for disorderly conduct, OVI above .17, driving under suspension and failure to control.

Cena M. Mason, 21, Cadmus Street, East Liverpool, was fined $20 for a seat belt violation.

Robert M. Plumley, 32, Gardendale Street, East Liverpool, was fined $75 for driving under suspension-license forfeiture.

Steven C. Schneider, 38, Morton Street, East Liverpool, was fined $200 and sentenced to seven days in jail and two years probation for theft.

Jackson R.W. Mason, 28, Vine Street, East Liverpool, was fined $75 for driving under suspension.

A Jan. 28 pretrial was set for Robert G. Wiegant, 44, Clark Street, East Liverpool, who pleaded not guilty to charges of violating a protection order and criminal damaging.

A second arraignment was scheduled for Jan. 27 for Carlos E. Lujano, 20, Warren, Ohio, for charges of domestic violence.

Notices were sent and bench warrants were issued for the following people, who failed to appear fo their respective charges: Stephen A. Wright, 39, Cheval Street, East Liverpool, for driving under suspension revoked in West Virginia; Charles A. Dean, 54, Ashtabula, for a seat belt violation.

In Municipal Court Friday, Leona G. Reed, 49, Sunset Drive, Wellsville, was fined $100 for littering from a motor vehicle.

A trial was set Feb. 3 for Gloe Hull, 38, Edgewood Street, charged with littering.

Pretrials were scheduled March 3 for Brittany M. Heffner, 26, Tomahawk Drive, charged with theft, possession of criminal tools and criminal mischief and for Cortland L. Foster, 26, Claibourne Street, charged with OVI, left of center and expired tags.

In Municipal Court Thursday, Paul V. Hoffer, 48, Green Lane, was fined $200, sentenced to 90 days, 85 suspended and placed on probation two years for theft, second offense.

Michael E. Reynolds, 40, Brookfield Avenue, Lisbon, was fiend $200, sentenced to 90 days, 80 suspended, and placed on probation two years for possession of drug abuse instruments. He was fined $65 for failure to control and $30 for left of center.

Gavin W. Keck, 18, Avondale Street, was sentenced to 15 jail days for criminal trespass.

Jason M. Call, 22, Avondale Street, was fined $100, sentenced to 30 days, 29 suspended, and placed on probation two years for disorderly conduct, amended from theft. For a theft charge, he was fined $100.

Brett A. Lang Jr., 24, New Cumberland, W.Va., was fined $200, sentenced to 90days, 80 suspended, had his license suspended 180 days and was placed on probation three years for possession of drug abuse instruments.

Charles E. McGrath, 43, Green Lane, was fined $150 for disorderly conduct, with 19 hours of community service assigned in lieu of the fine. For theft, he was fined $100, sentenced to 30 days, 28 suspended, and placed on probation two years, with 13 hours of community service assigned in lieu of the fine.

Marcus A. Vincent, 25, state Route 45, Lisbon, was fined $200, sentenced to 90 days, 80 suspended, had his license suspended 180 days and was placed on probation two years for possession of drug abuse instruments.

Brandon M. Byers, 23, Oakwood Street, was fined $475, sentenced to 30 days, 27 suspended, had his license suspended 180 days and was placed on probation three years for OVI. For no operator’s license, he was fined $75 and for no brake lights, $30.

Peggy S. Strub, 55, Bradshaw Avenue, was fined $250 and sentenced to seven jail days for driving under suspension.

Angel D. Hartley, 42, Palissey Street, was sentenced to 180 days on each of nine counts of passing bad checks, to be served concurrently.

A jury trial was set Feb. 4 for Michael F. Earich, 42, Lisbon Street, charged with abusing harmful intoxicants, resisting arrest and two counts of obstructing official business.

A pretrial was scheduled Jan. 28 for Alexander J. Menough, 19, Alton Street, charged with failure to control, discharging firearms and domestic violence.

In Municipal Court Wednesday, Joshua J. Morris-Revelant, 28, Walnut Street, was fined $125 for no operator’s license and $30, each, for speeding and no seat belt.

Shawn J. Adams, 45, Carmel-Achor Road, Rogers, was fined $75 for driving under suspension.

Dante L. Hutchins, 23, Midland, Pa., was fined $75 for driving under suspension.

Pretrials were scheduled for Heidi D. Woofter, 40, Harker Avenue, Newell, W.Va., charged with OVI and no tail lights, March 3 and for Scott Jackson, 33, Spring Grove Road, charged with domestic violence, Feb. 2.

East Liverpool Municipal

A man accused in connection to a Dec. 1 home invasion in Glenmoor appeared Tuesday for video arraignment in Municipal Court before Judge Melissa Byers Emmerling.

Austin J. Sullivan, 18, state Route 30, Hanoverton, pleaded not guilty to aggravated burglary and was bound over to Common Pleas Court. Cash/surety bond was set at $200,000, and he was ordered to have no contact with alleged victim Charles Smith or to have possession of firearms or ammunition.

According to court personnel, Sullivan plans to hire his own legal counsel and was not assigned a public defender.

Matthew S. Kent, 26, Thompson Drive, Wellsville, was fined $125 for no operator’s license.

Jared L. Headley, 35, Fox Chase Road, was fined $50 for confinement of dog.

An assault charge was dismissed against Michael F. Earich, 42, Lisbon Street, who had a pretrial set Jan. 21 on charges of abusing harmful intoxicants, resisting arrest and two counts of obstructing official business. His bond was set at $20,000 cash/surety.

A second pretrial was scheduled Feb. 17 for Jamie L. Allen, 41, Globe Street, charged with theft.

Pretrials were scheduled for Michael J. Graham, 39, Wood Alley, charged with theft, second offense, Feb. 18; and for Paul V. Hoffer, 48, Green Lane, theft, Jan. 21.

In Municipal Court Friday, Jason M. Holloway, 35, Black Road, Lisbon, was fined $125 for driving under suspension and $30 for expired plates.

Robert C. Jones, 61, McSwiggen Road, Salineville, was fined $75 for driving under suspension.

Second arraignments were scheduled for Richard D. Adkins, 33, Midland, Pa., charged with driving under suspension and speeding, Feb. 16 and Richard H. Stoddard III, 46, Lincoln Avenue, charged with open container in a motor vehicle and unsafe vehicle, Feb. 22.

A pretrial was scheduled Feb. 18 for Katie R. Riley, 25, Ephraim Street, charged with theft.

In Municipal Court Wednesday, Corey M. Rabquer, 27, North Middle Street, Columbiana, was fined $475, sentenced to 30 days, 27 suspended, had his license suspended 180 days and was placed on probation two years for leaving the scene. For failure to control, he was fined $65.

A jury trial was set April 14 for Jona N. French, 24, McGavern Road, Salineville, charged with endangering children.

Pretrials were scheduled for Lori R. McCoullough, 44, Perry Avenue, charged with driving under suspension and failure to control, Feb. 18; Tariq Larkins, 23, Peach Alley, driving under suspension, speeding, possession of marijuana, Feb. 10; and Christopher B. Edison, 29, Maple Avenue, Wellsville, driving under suspension, reckless operation, obstruction of justice, expired plates and no seat belt, Jan. 20.

In Municipal Court Tuesday, Seth R. Steele, 24, Carter Street, was fined $1,075, sentenced to 365 days, 275 suspended, had his license suspended three years and was placed on probation three years for OVI, his third conviction in six years. For driving left of center, he was fined $30.

Michael S. Labi Jr., 23, Ohio Avenue, was fined $75 for driving under suspension, $35 for illegal plates and $30 for no turn signal.

Pretrials were scheduled for Angel Bragg Hartley, 42, Palissey Street, charged with nine counts of passing bad checks, Jan. 21; and for Roberta G. Pratt, 47, Ohio Avenue, charged with theft, Feb. 9.

A rental property license violation was dismissed against Brian Stowers, Annesley Road, who was assessed court costs.

East Liverpool Municipal

In Municipal Court Monday, Paul W. Brown, 49, Akron, was fined $75 for driving under suspension and $30 for no turn signal.

Corey L. Garlock, 24, Marietta, was fined $75 for driving under suspension and $10 for no plate light.

A revocation hearing and second pretrial was set for Jan. 21 for Gavin W. Keck, 18, Avondale Street, East Liverpool, for probation violation on criminal trespassing and theft.
