Columbiana County Common Pleas
Cassandra R. Manley, formerly known as Allen, 27, Washington Street, Wellsville, was sentenced in Columbiana County Common Pleas Court to nine months in the Reformatory for Women in Marysville and had her license suspended for six months for possession of drugs and for a probation violation for a previous possession of drugs conviction. Most recently, Manley was found with less than a gram of heroin on spoons in her home on April 15, 2014. The previous case from 2008 involved cocaine.
Angela M. Moses, 28, North Market Street, Lisbon, pleaded guilty to possession of drugs for having buprenorphine on April 19, 2015. She requested an immediate sentencing and was ordered to serve 180 days in jail with 90 days suspended and the remaining 90 days to be served concurrently with a sentence in Jefferson County for a probation violation.
Jermaine M. Hodges, 34, Youngstown, was sentenced to nine months in prison for possession of drugs and a forfeiture specification. Hodges had a suboxone packet in his wallet along with $534, marijuana and a digital scale, on Sept. 18, 2014. The sentence will run concurrently with a sentence Hodges is serving in a Mahoning County case.
Julie A. Underwood, 38, College Street, East Liverpool, pleaded guilty to two counts of both illegal processing of drug documents and deception to obtain a dangerous drug, as well as a misdemeanor charge of receiving stolen property. She was found eligible for intervention in lieu of conviction and was sentenced to four years in the program. Underwood on April 15 and May 4, stole a prescription pad from the office of Vardhan J. Reddy and forged them to obtain prescriptions for percocet at Rite Aid in East Liverpool.

Columbiana County Common Pleas
Michael K. Newell, 31, South Union Avenue, Salem, was sentenced in Columbiana County Common Pleas Court to nine months in prison for illegal conveyance of a drug of abuse onto the grounds of a detention facility. When Newell had been booked into the county jail, he was found to have a bag containing 12 clonazepam tablets inside his pants on Nov. 4, 2014. The sentence is to run consecutive to his two-year sentence he received in early November for burglary and receiving stolen property. Those charges were for entering the home of Joseph Randa, Tanglewood Drive, Salem, on Nov. 4, 2014 and stealing a Wii gaming system and games. Then he sold or pawned those items along with a GPS and miscellaneous items belong to Mark Smith.
Ashley D. Cox, 26, West Main Street, New Waterford, was ordered to serve up to six months at the Eastern Ohio Correction Center for two counts of possession of drugs. Cox had a spoon with less than a gram of heroin residue in her vehicle on Nov. 3, 2013 and a spoon with less than a gram of heroin residue in her apartment on Dec. 2, 2013.
Shawn P. Davner, 32, Spiedel Road, East Rochester, stipulated to violating his probation and had his community control dishonorably terminated. He was sentenced to seven months in prison for possession of drugs for having heroin on Feb. 17, 2014. Davner was credited with 16 days already served.
Jesub Carter, 26, Erie Street, East Liverpool, pleaded guilty to burglary and possession of drugs. Carter had less than a gram of heroin in a piece of foil and a spoon on July 31, 2014. Then on Oct. 27, 2014, he entered the home of Cathy Carter, Erie Street, East Liverpool, by removing a window screen and stole a Vizio TV. He faces up to four years in prison, a five-year license suspension and a fined of $12,500. Sentencing is set for Jan. 25.
Adam M. Gallimore, 28, East Liverpool Road, Lisbon, pleaded guilty to trafficking in drugs and complicity to trafficking in drugs. On Aug. 20, 2014, Gallimore sold five wax paper envelops containing heroin to a confidential informant for $100. Additionally, on Oct. 7, 2014, Gallimore drove a woman to a location in East Liverpool where she purchased heroin for him, which he in turn provided to a confidential informant for $100. He faces up to two and a half years in prison, a five-year license suspension and $7,500 in fines. Sentencing is set for Jan. 4.

He pleaded guilty to two counts of trafficking in drugs and was placed on a four-year treatment plan. Parker had sold 40 vicodin 10-milligram tablets for $320 on May 19, 2014 and 40 xanax one-milligram tablets for $60 on June 4, 2014.

An East Liverpool-area teenager pleaded guilty as charged to robbing another man.
Layne A Edge, 19, of Sprucevale Road, is scheduled to be sentenced on Jan. 15 after entering a guilty plea to the charge in Columbiana County Common Pleas Court. Edge is accused of helping assault Clyde Hunt and robbing him of money in East Liverpool on Aug. 11.
Frank J. Bursick Jr., 53, East Liverpool Road, East Liverpool, pleaded guilty to drug possession, which was reduced from the more serious charge of smuggling methamphetamine into the county jail in January 2014 as a result of a plea deal with the county prosecutor’s office. He is scheduled to be sentenced on Jan. 15.

An East Liverpool-area woman was sentenced to prison on burglary charges last week in Columbiana County Common Pleas Court.
Cheri B. Bredeck, 35, of Maple Lane, was sentenced to one year in prison by Judge Scott Washam after she pleaded guilty as charged to burglarizing the home of Brian Bryarley, Shadyside Avenue, East Liverpool, in September 2014.
The sentence was ordered served concurrently with the prison sentence Bredeck received from a 2010 criminal case. She received mandatory credit for 65 days spent in the county jail on the burglary charge.
In other court action, Nikole A. Riley, 25, Chester Avenue, East Liverpool, pleaded guilty to drug possession charges and was sentenced by Judge Washam to four years treatment/probation. She was found by police to be in possession of cocaine on March 20.

A Washingtonville woman was sentenced to prison this week in Columbiana County Common Pleas Court after pleading guilty to possessing chemicals used to manufacture methamphetamines.
Sarah L. Sines, 32, of Senior Street, was sentenced by Judge C. Ashley Pike to 18 months on the chemical possession charge and a charge of obstructing police business. She received mandatory credit for 224 days spent in the county jail awaiting the outcome of the case.
The crime occurred March 31 at a home on East Third Street in Salem, when police and agents from county Drug Task Force searched the premise after obtaining a search warrant. They found the following items commonly used to manufacture meth: Coleman fuel, Drano, muriatic acid, ammonia nitrade beads, a Rexall cold pack and aluminum foil.
In other court action, Jermaine M. Hodges, 24, of Youngstown, was served with a secret indictment charging him with possessing drugs, buprenorphine, in the county on Sept. 18, 2014.

LISBON – An East Liverpool man pleaded guilty as charged to drug possession charges during a hearing last week in Columbiana County Common Pleas Court.
Elvin R. Tisdale, 25, of Chester Avenue, admitted to being in possession of oxycondone pills and cocaine after a search warrant was obtained by law enforcement to search his home on March 20. He is scheduled to be sentenced on Jan. 15.
In other court action, a secret indictment issued by the county grand jury was served this week on Jennifer M. McCarty, 32, Sherman Street, Lisbon, charging her with selling a counterfeit controlled substance on June 22 and being in possession of cocaine on June 25.

Gallimore, 28, East Liverpool Road, Lisbon, pleaded guilty in Columbiana County Common Pleas Court to illegal assembly or possession of chemicals for the manufacture of drugs after agents from the county Drug Task Force found four methamphetamine one-pot cooks and other meth making items at a home on Liverpool Road, Lisbon, on July 18, 2014. He faces up to a three-year prison term, a five-year license suspension and a $10,000 fine. Sentencing is set for Jan. 4.
Joseph J. Recek Jr., 57, Oak Grove Road, Wellsville, pleaded guilty to OVI. He faces up to 30 months in prison, a $10,500 fine, mandatory drug and alcohol addiction counseling, a lifetime license suspension and restricted plates. Sentencing was set for Jan. 4.
Alex Porter, 30, Roller Coaster Road, Lisbon, pleaded guilty to burglary for prying open the locks at the separately secured portions of the Durham/Dahmen home between December 2014 and March 2015. Items were stolen, sold and damaged in the home. Porter faces up to three years in prison and a $10,000 fine. Sentencing is set for Jan. 8.

Amy D. Moore, 38, McCormick Run Road, Salineville, was sentenced in Columbiana County Common Pleas Court to four years probation including up to six months at the Eastern Ohio Correction Center in Lisbon for charges of trafficking in drugs and endangering a child. Moore sold less than the bulk amount of diazepam in the vicinity of a child on April 22, 2014.
Sheridan S. Taylor, 24, Madison Avenue, Salineville, stipulated to violating the terms of his probation. Taylor was sentenced to spend up to six months at the Eastern Ohio Correctional Center in Wintersville and his probation was continued. Taylor was originally convicted of tampering with evidence for an evidence folder with a digital CD containing an informant’s statement removed from the Salineville police department.
Natalie R. Dillon, 32, Union Ridge Road, Negley, was placed on two years probation for permitting drug abuse. Dillon’s license was also suspended for six months. On March 3, 2014, Dillon allowed her home to be used by three drug dealers from Cleveland known as Rock, Rusty and Mike to sell .7 grams of heroin to a confidential informant for $160.
Joseph M. Smith, 29, West Ninth Street, Salem, was sentenced to a six month term at the Eastern Ohio Correction Center, sentenced to an indefinite term at the county jail until room is available at the EOCC and placed on three years probation. Smith had pleaded guilty to four counts of possession of drugs.
Alex L. Porter, 31, Roller Coaster Road, Lisbon, pleaded guilty in Columbiana County Common Pleas Court to illegal assembly or possession of chemicals for the manufacture of drugs and endangering children. On Jan. 16, 2015 agents found two one-pot cook methamphetamine cooks and numerous chemicals for making meth at an East Washington Street, Lisbon, home. There was a 9-year-old in the home and a 5-year-old living on the other side of the duplex. Porter faces up to 11 years in prison, a five-year license suspension and a $25,000 fine. A charge of illegal manufacture of drugs may be dismissed at sentencing, which is set for Jan. 8.
Antonio T. Torres II, 27, Warren, pleaded guilty to two counts of trafficking in drugs. Torres sold 1.35 grams and 1.42 grams of cocaine to a confidential informant on April 11 and April 14, 2014 for $200 each occasion. He faces up to two years in prison, a five-year license suspension and a $5,000 fine. Sentencing is set for Jan. 7.
Amy J. Delauder, 36, Broadway Avenue, Wellsville, pleaded guilty to four counts of possession of drugs, including one for having more than 20 grams and less than 27 grams of cocaine on Nov. 5, 2014. The other charges were for having cocaine, oxycodon, heroin and alprazolam in her home on Feb. 23, 2015. She faces up to 11 years in prison, a five-year license suspension and a $22,500. Sentencing is set for Jan. 7.
Tonya Tisdale, 51, 18th Street, Wellsville, pleaded guilty to two counts of possession of drugs for having less than five grams of heroin and less than the bulk amount of Alprazolam on April 11, 2014. She faces up to two years in prison, a $5,000 fine and a five-year license suspension. Sentencing is set for Jan. 8.
Justin R. Barrett, 31, Wyoming Avenue, East Liverpool, pleaded guilty to breaking and entering and burglary. Barrett pried open a window at the Convenient Food Mart, Lisbon Street, East Liverpool, to steal items including cigarettes and a safe. He faces up to two and a half years in prison and a $7,500 fine. Sentencing is set for Jan. 7.
Sean E. Wright, 39, Barberton, stipulated to violating his probation for non-support of dependents. His four-year term of community control has now been terminated.
Dakota B.L. Santee, 21, Whinnery Road, Hanoverton, pleaded guilty to domestic violence. Santee grabbed Shari Cross, who was pregnant, threw her onto an air mattress and bounced her onto the floor and dropped her onto her abdomen. He faces up to 12 months in prison and a $2,500 fine. Sentencing is set for Jan. 7.
Erin L. Porter, 32, Vine Street, East Liverpool, pleaded guilty to attempted harassment with a bodily substance and obstruction of official business. Porter waived her right to a presentencing investigation and was immediately sentenced to three years probation. A disorderly conduct charge was dismissed.
