In Municipal Court Friday, Logan K. Beaver, 26, Dewey Avenue, was fined $50 for confinement/restraint of a dog.
Fined $30 for speeding were Shawn P. Wile, 40, Steubenville and Kathryn M. Boley, 23, St. Clairsville.
Pretrial was scheduled Sept. 3 for Dashaun J. Coles, 19, 11th Street, Wellsville, charged with leaving the scene and driving under suspension.
Trials were scheduled for James S. Price Jr., 25, Burford Street, charged with one-way traffic, Sept. 15; Daner D. Adkins Jr., 73, Pennsylvania Avenue Extension, left of center, Sept. 8; and Richard E. Boran, 48, Finleyville, Pa., speeding, Sept. 15.
A second pretrial was set Sept. 17 for Holly M. Weyand, 30, Dewey Avenue, charged with theft. On another theft charge, pretrial was set the same day.
East Liverpool Municipal
In Municipal Court Thursday, Jayshawn J. J. Sanders, 18, Youngstown, was sentenced to 10 days in jail, each, on charges of possession of drug paraphernalia and theft. He was fined $100 and had his license suspended 180 days for possession of marijuana. For no operator’s license, he was fined $100, and a fictitious plates charge was dismissed.
Justin J. Schneider, 24, Dunn Road, was sentenced to 30 days for driving under suspension and was fined $30 for illegal plates. A loud exhaust charge was dismissed.
Megan G. Wilson, 25, Diamond Street, Irondale, was fined $250, sentenced to 30 days, suspended, had her license suspended 180 days and was placed on probation two years for OVI. She was fined $50 for open container in a motor vehicle and $30 for a parking prohibition, while an intoxication charge was dismissed.
Kenneth R. Jordan, 42, West Pidgeon Road, Salem, was sentenced to 120 jail days for theft, eighth offense.
Duallen J. Stanford, 22, state Route 170, Negley, was fined $200, sentenced to 90 days, 60 suspended, and placed on probation three years for possession of drug abuse instruments. He was given 30 days credit for house arrest. The court ordered four syringes, a spoon, rubber ties and a push rod destroyed.
Jury trials were set for William E. Martin, 36, Smithville, charged with criminal mischief, Oct. 8 and for Roger G. Singleton Jr., 42, Midland, Pa., charged with domestic violence. Sept. 3.
Pretrials were scheduled for Charles R. Cornell, 49, Valley Drive, passing bad checks, Sept. 10; Devon J. Pasek, 24, Haywood Street, criminal trespass, Sept. 24; and Desarae M. Keyes, 19, Carroll Road, theft, Sept. 10.
East Liverpool Municipal
Three Salem men arrested Tuesday after an alleged incident at the Calcutta Walmart appeared in Municipal Court Wednesday before Judge Melissa Byers Emmerling.
Samuel T. Hillyer, 19, Lexington Avenue, Salem and Jacob T. Cawthorn, 18, East 10th Street, Salem, each pleaded guilty to theft.
Each was fined $150, sentenced to 30 days, 25 suspended, and placed on probation two years.
Nicholas S. Franklin, 18, Southeast Boulevard, Salem, pleaded not guilty to robbery in the same incident and had a preliminary hearing set for Sept. 3, with $20,000 cash/surety bond set. He was ordered to have no contact with Walmart.
Charges of contributing to the unruliness of a juvenile were dismissed against each of the men due to lack of jurisdiction, with officials saying the charge must be filed in Juvenile Court.
In other court matters:
Herman J. Cujas, 62, Aliquippa, Pa., was fined $475, sentenced to 30 days, 27 suspended, had his license suspended 180 days and was placed on probation two years for OVI. He was fined $65 for failure to control.
Richard Pruneda, 32, Baytown, Texas, was fined $100 for speeding.
East Liverpool Municipal
In Municipal Court Tuesday, Kira A. Jarvis, 23, Calcutta-Smith Ferry Road, was fined $200 for driving under suspension and $30 for failure to yield. An improper lane change charge was dismissed.
John W. Fraser, 27, Cameron Road, Wellsville, was sentenced to 10 days, suspended, and placed on probation one year for driving under suspension.
Malinda A. Baucan, 27, Midland, Pa., was fined $50 for speeding.
Shawntae M. Dillard, 22, Azalea Avenue, was fined $40 for speeding.
A second pretrial was scheduled Sept. 30 for Dee John Rafail, 53, Conneaut, charged with driving under suspension.
East Liverpool Municipal
In Municipal Court Monday, Jorge L. Flores, 61, Grandview Avenue, was fined $750, sentenced to 180 days, 140 suspended, and placed on probation three years for OVI, second offense. For failure to control, he was fined $65. Court reports noted he did not wish to contact the Mexican Embassy or an immigration attorney or expert.
A trial was set Sept. 15 for Michele L. Divencenzo, 42, Ravine Street, charged with loud exhaust, driving under suspension, storage of furniture and litter-deposit of garbage.
A trial was set Aug. 27 for Jayshawn J. J. Sanders, 18, Youngstown, on charges of no operator’s license (two counts), fictitious plates, illegal plates, and possession of marijuana. A second arraignment was scheduled the same day on charges of theft and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Second arraignment was scheduled Aug. 31 for Andrew G. Leslie, 25, Monaca, Pa., charged with OVI and failure to control.
A pretrial was scheduled Aug. 22 for David J. Sisco, 48, 5th Avenue, charged with possession of drug paraphernalia.

In Municipal Court Wednesday, Brandon L. Speece, 21, 1st Street, Wellsville, was fined $475, sentenced to 180 days, 174 suspended, had his license suspended 180 days and was placed on probation three years for OVI. He was sentenced to 180 days, 135 suspended, and placed on probation three years for endangering children. For no operator’s license, Speece was fined $125 and for speeding, $150.
Olivia A. Shenton, 20, California Avenue, Chester, W.Va., was fined $65 for failure to control.
Joshua W. Varner, 29, Oakwood Street, was fined $50 for unreasonable noise.
East Liverpool Municipal
In Municipal Court Tuesday, Corey L. Garlock, 23, Wilbert Avenue, was fined $150 for driving under suspension.
Matthew A. Coles, 20, Danbury Avenue, Wellsville, was fined $75 for driving under suspension.
Jena K. Whittington, 32, 18th Street Heights, Wellsville, was fined $40 for speeding.
East Liverpool Municipal
In Municipal Court Monday, a pretrial was scheduled Aug. 20 for Ryan D. White, 38, no address listed, charged with assault. Cash/surety bond was set at $15,000, and he was ordered to have no contact with Vicki White or her children, nor to possess firearms or ammunition.

In Municipal Court Friday, William E. Martin, 36, Blakeley Street, was found guilty by Judge Melissa Byers Emmerling of contempt of court after his arraignment on charges of driving under suspension and criminal mischief.
According to court records, Martin cussed at the judge, who initially ignored him. During another person’s arraignment, Martin reportedly jumped up and issued a long string of cuss words at the judge, causing the other proceedings to be halted until he could be removed.
Martin was sentenced to 10 jail days for the contempt charge, with a trial set Aug. 20 on the other two charges.
Fined for speeding were Kane Borelli, 35, Bank Street, $70; Christopher L. Smith, 30, Charles Street, $50; and Kenneth B. Devore III, 18, Cannons Mill Road, $50.
Second arraignment was set Aug. 21 for James L. Bundy Jr., 45, Rochester, Pa., charged with two counts of violating a protection order. Cash/surety bond was set at $15,000, and he was ordered to have no contact with Amber Hancock and not to possess firearms or ammunition.
A pretrial was scheduled Aug. 26 for Herman J. Cujas, 62, Aliquippa, Pa., charged with OVI and failure to control.
East Liverpool Municipal
In Municipal Court Thursday, Robert L. Adams Jr., 39, Coolidge Avenue, was sentenced to 90 days, suspended, and placed on probation two years for petty theft. He was ordered to make restitution of $40 to Dave & Deb’s, where he substituted $40 in change he received at the bar with two counterfeit $20 bills.
For a domestic violence charge, Adams was fined $200, sentenced to 180 days, 140 suspended, and placed on probation two years, with restitution to Aimee Talbott. He was fined $250 for disregard to safety, second offense, with the court ruling the dune buggy involved will be released to Adams.
Julie A. Carl, 43, Lisbon Street, was fined $50 for open container in public.
Michael David Kennedy, 26, Freedom, Pa., was fined $35 for a stop sign violation.
East Liverpool Municipal
In Municipal Court Wednesday, David C. Brown, 54, Malone Road, Salineville, was fined $675, sentenced to 90 days, 80 suspended, and placed on probation three years for OVI. For speeding, he was fined $30.
Zachary C. Lyons, 22, Lincoln Avenue, was fined $200, sentenced to 180 days, 150 suspended, and placed on probation two years for theft.
For disorderly conduct, Michael F. Earich, 41, Lisbon Street, was sentenced to 20 jail days.
Joseph A. Bredeck, 32, state Route 267, was sentenced to 15 days for driving under suspension, with a turn signal charge dismissed.
Christian M. Bell, 19, First Avenue, was fined $200, sentenced to 90 days, 75 suspended, and placed on probation two years for theft. He was given 25 hours of community service in lieu of the fine.
A domestic violence charge was dismissed against Robert L. Simms, 23, Ohio Avenue, due to the alleged victim not wanting to prosecute.
Layne A. Edge, 18, Sprucevale Road, was bound over to county Common Pleas Court on a robbery charge. A motion by the defense to have the $100,000 cash/surety bond amended was denied by Judge Melissa Byers Emmerling. The cash of alleged victim Clyde E. Hunt was ordered returned.
Brandon L. Plum, 32, Clayburn Place, was bound over to county Common Pleas Court on a domestic violence charge, third offense. The Department of Human Services was contacted by Chief Jayson Jackson, according to Ohio law, due to the alleged victim being pregnant and other children living at the home. A pretrial was scheduled Aug. 20 on another domestic violence charge and a charge of telecommunications harassment.
A preliminary hearing was scheduled Aug. 20 for Scott A. Helton, 44, Michigan Avenue, charged with domestic violence. Cash/surety bond of $100,000 was set, and he was ordered to have no contact with Michelle Helton.

In Municipal Court Tuesday, a preliminary hearing was scheduled Aug. 12 for Layne A. Edge, 18, Sprucevale Road, charged with robbery. Cash/surety bond of $100,000 was set, and he was ordered by Judge Melissa Byers Emmerling to have no contact with Clyde E. Hunt.
Christian M. Bell, 19, First Avenue, was bound over to Common Pleas Court on a charge of robbery, with $100,000 cash/surety bond set. He was ordered to have no contact with Clyde E. Hunt.

In Municipal Court Monday, Shawn P. McNeil, 45, Oakwood Street, was fined $200, sentenced to 30 days, 25 suspended, and placed on probation two years for disorderly conduct/intoxication. He will sit four days in jail in lieu of the fine. For an additional intoxication charge, he was fined $50.

Second arraignment was scheduled Aug. 17 for Mark A. Triner, 45, Minerva Street, charged with OVI and speeding.

Garrett L. Spielman, 20, Martha Street, East Liverpool, was fined $30 for a seat belt violation.
Kathryn L. McCauley, 48, Wilbert Avenue, East Liverpool, was fined $65 for failure to control. A Sept. 17 pretrial, meanwhile, was set for McCauley, who pleaded not guilty of passing bad checks. She is accused of writing a check for $47.56 at the East Liverpool Giant Eagle which bounced.

Jossalyn J. Shaw, 28, Bill Smith Road, Wellsville, was fined $150 for driving under suspension-non compliance.

Norma M. Wright, 32, Lincoln Avenue, East Liverpool, was fined $65 for marked lanes from an accident.
Brandon S. Wilson, 18, County Airport Road, East Liverpool, was fined $185 for a stop sign violation and possession of marijuana.
A Sept. 14 status hearing was set Maroda R. Dobritz, 20, Wilbert Avenue, East Liverpool for charges of driving under FRA suspension.
An Aug. 21 status hearing was set for Joseph R. Garwood, 27, Harvey Avenue, East Liverpool, for charges of failure to signal and driving under suspension.

Brandon L. Moffett, 22, Annesley Road, was fined $145 for driving under suspension, stop sign violation and illegal plates.
Shawna M. Zuti, 22, Independence Square, Wellsville, was fined $150 and sentenced to 19 hours community service for possession of marijuana.
Cristi Jo Corak, 55, Wells Hollow Road, Wellsville, was fined $740, sentenced to 10 days in jail and three years probation for OVI and failure to control, while a charge of obstructing official business was dismissed.
Scott J. Francis, 40, Samuel Street, East Liverpool, was sentenced to 15 days in jail for a probation violation relating to a domestic violence conviction.

In East Liverpool Municipal Court Tuesday, fines against Charles D. Warden, 36, Sprucevale Road, East Liverpool, were suspended for a no turn signal violation.
Michael C. Talbott, 43, Park Boulevard East, East Liverpool, was fined $300 for possession of marijuana and possession of marijuana paraphernalia.
An Aug. 4 pretrial was set for Brian Miller, 33, Almont Street, East Liverpool, who is facing storage of furniture charges. The court is allowing Miller time to come into compliance.
A notice was sent and a bench warrant was issued for Adrianna L. Kennedy, 24, Lincoln Street, East Liverpool, who failed to appear for failure to register a dog.
Mark C. Tepsick, 58, McDonald, was fined $575 and sentenced to three days in jail and two years probation for OVI and drug paraphernalia. A marijuana possession charge was dismissed.

In East Liverpool Municipal Court Monday, a second arraignment was set for Aug. 5 for Abby J. Atwood, 27, Eutaw Avenue, East Liverpool, for domestic violence charges, stemming from an incident with Joseph Dorsey at her residence on Aug. 2.
A second arraignment was set for Aug. 5 for Joseph A. Dorsey, 34, Clark Avenue, Wellsville, for domestic violence charges, stemming from an incident with Abby Atwood at her Eutaw Avenue residence on Aug. 2.
A second arraignment was set for Aug. 5 for Lacey L. Ammon, 25, Irondale, for charges of possession of drug abuse instruments, stemming from an incident on St. George Avenue on June 12.
Kevin W. Hutto, 25, Holliday Street, East Liverpool, was fined $200, sentenced to five days in jail and two years probation for disorderly conduct while intoxicated.
Terry W. Vennum, 51, Dodge Street, East Liverpool, was fined $150 for disorderly conduct while intoxicated.

A second arraignment was set for Aug. 5 for Michael S. Labi Jr., 22, Ohio Avenue, East Liverpool, for charges of obstructing official business and resisting arrest. Labi is accused of being combative while in the ambulance en route to the hospital after ingesting a large amount of pills, pulling away from officers and shoving one in the face, and spit on the floor at the police station among things on Aug. 2.

In East Liverpool Municipal Court Friday, Kiawna M. Jones, 32, Chaffin Avenue, East Liverpool, was fined $65 for improper backing, while driving under suspension charges were dismissed after she provided a valid driver’s license and an SR-22 bond.
Arthur J. Keyser, 27, First Street, East Liverpool, was fined $50 for peeling tires.
Daniel J. Kernaich, 34 Avondale Street, East Liverpool, was fined $30 for unsafe vehicle.
Charges of driving under suspension against Wendy A. Allen, 41, West Fifth Street, East Liverpool, were dismissed after she provided a valid driver’s license and proof of insurance.
Charges of driving under suspension-non-compliance and expired plates against Robert G. Emery, 50, Meadow Road, East Liverpool, were dismissed after he provided proof of insurance and renewed plates.
Raymond G. Crow Sr., 57, Bradshaw Avenue, East Liverpool, was fined $100 for disorderly conduct while intoxicated and open container in public.
Charges of driving under suspension-license forfeiture against Amy R. Marsh, 24, Clinton, Pa., were dismissed when she provided a valid driver’s license and insurance.
A second arraignment was set for Aug. 7 for Alex L. Porter, 30, Carey Road, Salem, for charges of driving under suspension and no turn signal.
A Sept. 10 pretrial was set for Troy E. Quinn, 19, Minerva Street, East Liverpool, who pleaded not guilty to prohibitions, stemming from a police stop on Broadway Street after an officer spotted him and a 17-year-old walking between the Oasis and Elks Lodge.
An Aug. 31 status hearing was set for Brandon A. Green, 22, Martha Street, East Liverpool, who pleaded not guilty to driving under suspension.
An Aug. 19 trial date was set for Joshua Varner, 29, Oakwood Street, East Liverpool, who pleaded not guilty to unreasonable noise from a vehicle, stemming from an incident on July 23.
An Aug. 5 hearing was set for Scott Francis, 40, Broadway Avenue, Wellsville, for a possible probation violation for domestic violence. He is accused of violating an order to have no contact with the complaining witness.
