Columbiana County Common Pleas 4-2
A man accused of stealing from the clerk of court title department pleaded guilty in Columbiana County Common Pleas Court to tampering with records.
Brian K. Miller, 33, Sugar Street, East Liverpool, reportedly took titles and money from the drive through window at the office on Saltwell Road last Aug. 28. He then stole the money and discarded the accompanying titles into the trash can.
Sentencing is set for May 17. He faces up to 36 months in prison and a $10,000 fine.
Ronald Lee Briggs, 49, Norton Street, East Liverpool, pleaded guilty to domestic violence. According to court documents, Briggs harmed or attempted to harm Roxanne Neville on Nov. 21. He has previous convictions of domestic violence from 1996 and 1997. Sentencing is set for May 9. He faces up to 36 months in prison and a $10,000 fine.
