WELLSVILLE – Village council is considering added a cost to bury cremains in an occupied grave. Council members recently agreed to have an ordinance drafted that would charge $350 on top of the grave opening and closing costs to bury cremains in an occupied grave at Springhill Cemetery. PERRY TWP. (WKBN) — The Ohio State Highway Patrol has identified the pedestrian hit in an accident in Perry Township Friday night. According to OSHP Lisbon, an Oldsmobile traveled off the right side of the roadway and hit a pedestrian, identified by OSHP as Amanda J. Speigle, 35, of Salem, at 6:17 p.m. on State Route 45 in front of the Salem Golf Club. Speigle was taken to the hospital with life-threatening injuries, and she later passed away at the hospital, according to OSHP. The driver of the car was unharmed.
