Hancock County Animal Shelter levy on the ballot

NEW CUMBERLAND — Hancock County voters will be asked to show support for dogs, cats and other animals looking for a home through a new levy in support of the Hancock County Animal Shelter. The levy, designed to raise $300,000 per year over a four-year period, is among items appearing on Hancock County ballots for the May 12 primary election. Liverpool Township trustees approve sale of township vehicles

EAST LIVERPOOL – Liverpool Township Police Chief Jarrod Kinemond was given the go ahead for the sale of the police department’s 2016 F150 police cruiser. At the trustees meeting Tuesday, the board told Kinemond to accept a reasonable off for the cruiser, which is no longer needed. Kinemond also received approval to extend the body camera contract with Motorola for an additional five years to lock in the current price and avoid a price increase later.
