ELFD receives $174K grant to update haz-mat equipment

EAST LIVERPOOL – East Liverpool Fire Department (ELFD) recently received a grant to update its hazardous material equipment. Fire Chief Antony Cumo said the department received a State Homeland Security Preparedness Grant in the amount of $174,432. (The Columbiana County land bank) has been awarded $230,000 in the latest round of funding from the Building Demolition and Site Revitalization Program to demolish 20 dilapidated structures in three county municipalities.
