Yu said the only grant she was aware of is the grant for the Marcs radios which is only available for a limited time and she noted that she doesn't think it's so much about getting a grant for the fire department as it is about whether the village con sustain the budget with the general fund for the police department.

Boley was advised by Village Solicitor Chris Weeda that the village might need to draft a different ordinance for that.
Boley noted he received a call from the county regarding demolition of a house at 1207 Clover Ave., and the gas company asked him if the brick sections of road they would be tearing up to lay gas lines could be fixed with concrete or do they need to put the brick back. Following discussion weighing the pros and cons of each, council voted to have them put the brick back. The brick sidewalks that they would need to tear up would be up to the homeowner to decide on concrete or putting the brick back.
Boley also said that the D and E Legacy Group LLC has changed the name to Davis Family Heritage LLC. The village has been after the real estate group to clean up properties they own in Wellsville.
