During a field trip to Salem AirPark, Emily Bowling's aviation class at Southern Local Junior-Senior High School viewed about a dozen airplanes brought by local pilots and interviewed many about their flying experience. Mahoning County Sheriff's Deputy Rob Hovanec also demonstrated the sheriff's department's drone while he and Columbiana County Commissioner Tim Weigle spoke about how drones are used in various daily operations.
