Superintendent Jonathan Ludwig served as Master of Ceremonies, and Merle Russo offered the invocation. The luncheon was served to the honored students, their parents and other guests, including the committees and board members.

Karen Frederick, a 1978 ELHS graduate and former Scholar of the Month, was the featured speaker.

Each of the students received a personalized keepsake plate provided by the Fiesta Tableware Company. Students were then recognized by EL Sr./Jr. High School Principal Bryian Burson.
