Chester water outage
The city of Chester announced Wednesday night on its Facebook page a probable overnight citywide water outage for Thursday, April 2, into Friday, April 3, for installation of an isolation valve for the Mill addition. The outage is scheduled for 7 p.m. to 5 a.m. but is contingent on the contractor meeting all requirements of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers and Chester water department. Officials will notify customers by the close of business Thursday. The outage would be citywide.
