CVFD has training spots for any Columbiana County first responders
CALCUTTA — The Calcutta Volunteer Fire Department is hosting an Emergency Boat operations and Rescue Class March 28 29 from 8 a.m. to 4p.m.
The training has several opening spots for any law enforcement, fire or EMS personnel interested in participating.
The cost of the training is $250 per person and includes lunch.
Participants must have already completed Swift Water Technician with Emergency Boat Operations and Rescue (EBOR)
The training will be conducted by certified instructors from LVA Swift Water Rescue.
During the training, participants will practice boat operating, victim rescue and spend time on motors and certification.
March 28 training will take place at the Calcutta Fire Department and at Oil City on March 29.
