NEW CUMBERLAND -- The Hancock County Sheriff's Office is attempting to locate the driver of a red vehicle that may have been involved in a hit and run. According to a press release issued Saturday afternoon, a male subject was struck by a vehicle at 2:50 p.m. Friday while he was walking near Newell Polymers located at 7743 Ohio River Blvd.
The victim required emergency surgery and is recovering in a Pittsburgh hospital.
