EL man dies after being struck by car
EAST LIVERPOOL — Braidy C. Ingram, East Liverpool, died from injuries sustained when he was hit by a car along Bradshaw Avenue Wednesday evening.
Ingram was transported from the scene to East Liverpool City Hospital, where he was deceased about an hour after being struck.
According to a media release from Chief John Lane, East Liverpool Police Department received a call at 7:49 p.m. reporting a man had been struck by a vehicle in the 700 block of Bradshaw Avenue.
The vehicle involved fled the scene going uphill on Bradshaw Avenue. No details of the vehicle have been released.
According to a media release, officers located the vehicle sometime later parked in the 400 block of Wilbert Avenue. All the occupants of the vehicle at the time of the incident, which included three adult females and two young juveniles, were located and taken to the police department and interviewed.
There are no charges currently filed as the incident remains under investigation. A review will be conducted by the Columbiana County Prosecutor’s Office, who will then determine if charges will be filed.
