In a meeting Tuesday, the Columbiana County commissioners authorized the disposal of a 2025 Ford Explorer for salvage, adopting a resolution finding that its no longer fit for use.

The vehicle had been used by the county Department of Job and Family Services.

The commissioners also granted permission to Lenn Conkle and Kevin Clark to trap for the season from November 2026 to February 2027 on the county’s County Home Road, Lisbon property.

According to the meeting minutes, the commissioners also listened to concerns raised by a couple known as the Lopshanskys regarding the criminal case that occurred on their property and questions regarding the issuing and service of indictments. Bonnie Landsberger also raised concerns and complained about the county Board of Developmental Disabilities, which has its own board.
