CCCTC hosting Sophomore Showcase
The Columbiana County Career and Technical Center will be hosting its annual Sophomore Showcase Night at 6 p.m. Thursday, March 5. Current sophomores in Columbiana County and their parents/guardians are invited for a night of information and tours of the high school programs at the CCCTC.
During the evening, students and their parents/guardians will see displays of the career and technical programs and academics; meet the lab and academic instructors; visit labs and classrooms where an overview of the programs and academic offerings will be given with questions answered; sign up for the 2026-27 school year in the media center with assistance as needed; partake in light refreshments after visiting the labs and classrooms; and, enter a drawing to win one a Nintendo Switch 2 that will be given away. All visiting sophomore students should register upon entering the building in order to be entered into the drawing for the Nintendo Switch 2 which will take place at 7:45 pm.
CCDTC offers following career pathways: Auto Collision Repair, Automotive Technology, Construction Technology, Cosmetology, Criminal Justice, Culinary Careers, Health Academy, Cybersecurity and Information Technology, Interactive Technology and Emerging Media, Landscape and Environmental Design, Precision Machining and Manufacturing, Veterinary Science Technology, Vocational Job Training, and Welding. CCCTC also offers all of the core academic areas in English, math, science and social studies. Intervention specialists are available to assist students that have an individual education plan (IEP) or 504 plan.

Since 1977, the Columbiana County Career and Technical Center has provided career-technical training programs for high school students in the surrounding communities.
