Hancock County man skips status hearing a third time
NEW CUMBERLAND — The third time wasn’t the charm for a Hancock County magistrate who once again had to continue the status hearing for a Chester man accused of public indecency.
David D. Campbell, no address listed, again did not show up Tuesday in Hancock County Magistrate Court for a hearing before Matthew Harvey.
The homeless Campbell had been charged in November after allegedly exposing himself to a young mother and small child visiting Chester City Park.
He currently is banned from all city owned parks and green spaces.
Harvey set Campbell’s next hearing for 9 a.m. April 21.
Despite his frequent no-shows for court proceedings, Campbell continues to be out on a $1,500 bond.
