Missing Hanoverton man found dead in car
LISBON — Investigators didn’t get the ending that they desired, but a search for a missing Hanoverton man has concluded.
According to Ryan Pike of the Columbiana County Sheriff’s Office, Michael Arnoto was discovered deceased in his vehicle almost a month after he disappeared.
Arnoto, who was an insulin dependent diabetic, was located Monday inside his Hyundai Accent hatchback on Osborne Road.
His cell phone had been recovered near Highlandtown Lake, and the sheriff’s office had enlisted the Hanover Township Volunteer Fire Department’s drone team to search the lake and all roads leading to the waterbody.
His family has been notified, Pike said, adding that there is no suspicion of foul play.
Arnoto was 47 years of age.
