Liverpool Township trustees keep things the same in reorganizational meeting

LIVERPOOL TOWNSHIP — Following the regular meeting of the Liverpool Township Board of Trustees on Tuesday, the trustees held their annual reorganization meeting.

After taking a vote on 21 agenda items, the trustees made no changes, and everyone kept the positions they currently hold.

Dennis Giambroni remains the chairperson while Keith Burke remains vice-chair.

Meetings will continue to be held every other Tuesday at 3 p.m. at the township administration building.

The trustees and fiscal officer will remain on a monthly salary to be paid at the end of the month.

The township will continue to reimburse for travel outside the township for township business at the IRS rate set to mile. Fiscal Officer Shirley Flati is waiting to hear what the rate for 2026 will be set at.

Police Chief Jared Kinemond, Fire Chief Jacob Russell, Road Supervisor Chris Bosworth, and members of the police and road departments were hired (kept on in their same positions) at their current payrates.

Trustees approved the motions to appoint Zoning Inspector Fred Flati at the current payrate and to appoint Zoning Commission and Zoning Board of Appeals members. Appointed members will be finalized at a later date.

Burke retained his assignment as the Steering Committee member for the Columbiana County Township Association, and Giambroni retained his assignment to the Township Ad Hoc Committee for Buckeye Water District.

Trustee Mike Bahen remains the liaison for drug testing of township employees and for the police department.
