The festive program showcased a wide range of musical styles and holiday favorites, including “Bethlehem Lullaby,” “Jingle All the Way,” “Musica Dei,” “Frosty the Snowman,” “What Can I Bring?,” “Skatin’ & Sleighin’,” “Christmas in a Small Town,” “Angels’ Carol,” “All Good Gifts,” “Underneath the Tree,” “A Christmas Wish,” “A Regifted Christmas,” “All Night, All Day,” and the powerful “Hallelujah Chorus” from Handel’s Messiah. The concert concluded with a joyful and moving finale of “Joy to the World.”
Several students were featured in special performance roles throughout the afternoon, including soloists Nolan Irving, Gemma Messenger, and Melody Kirbaugh. Seasonal character performances added excitement to the stage with Kodie Fennell portraying Frosty the Snowman and Jazmine Hughes as a festive reindeer. Instrumental highlights included glockenspiel performances by Garrett Cooper and a beautiful descant by Breanna Tice. Musical interludes were performed by Madalyn Posey and Kelsey Stover.
The concert was supported by a dedicated team of accompanists, including Jan Stover, Mary Jean Ludwig, Pat Will, and Garrett Cooper, and was led by Director Aaron Bunfill.
In addition to the outstanding musical performances, the event reflected the strength of collaboration across the district. The department expressed gratitude to Mr. Croxall and his students for lighting and sound assistance, the choir boosters, administrators Mr. Ludwig, Mr. Burson, Mr. Kiger, and Mr. Pitzulo, as well as Ms. Carroll and the custodial staff for their support in preparing the venue.
