A portion of state Route 11 between the Downtown East Liverpool and Wellsville northbound entrances was closed several hours Wednesday as crews removed an overturned tractor trailer. According to a dispatcher, a Erie Towing truck was brought in to assist First Class Towing to clear the wreckage from the northbound lane of the Route 11 Wellsville entrance ramp. As of 3 p.m, five hours after a passerby reported the incident to safety forces, East Liverpool police and fire forces were still on scene of the closed section of highway.
