There were plenty of biker gear in attendance Sunday from Weirton American Legion Post 10’s Northern Panhandle Legion riders Sunday afternoon in from of the Newell Legion post, where a new monument in front of the post headquarters was dedicated Sunday amidst raindrops.

Newell American Legion Post 114 marked the week leading up to Veterans Day by dedicating a monument in front of their post headquarters on Sunday to those who made the supreme sacrifice. In addition to post officials, American Legion representatives from the state also were in attendance for the occasion, which wasn’t dampened by inclement weather. (Photos by Stephanie Ujhelyi)
