EAST LIVERPOOL — Craig Cozza, contractor for the Thompson Building, said he anticipates plans arriving from the engineer sometime over the next week on how to repair the front of the Thompson Building where the facade is falling down.

“Once we have those, we will be able to get that bid out and get that part of it done,” Cozza said.

Cozza noted that getting the facade fixed will wrap up most of the exterior work on the building.

Engineers are also working on plans for the interior of the building.

Contractors don’t have all the plans yet and it is a historic process where they have to make sure everything is done right and they are waiting on the final plans for the interior, Cozza said.
