Sheriff’s Office

— A deputy returned a call at 9:03 p.m. Sunday regarding a scam on Hillcrest Road, Yellow Creek Township, but was unable to reach the person after two attempts and was sent to a voicemail that was not set up.

— Suspicious activity was reported at 8:43 p.m. Sept. 10 in the area of the Columbiana County Airport on County Airport Road, Madison Township, where a person shined a laser at an airplane. Nobody was found.

— A deputy responded to Hellbender Bluff Park, Madison Township, for a call of suspicious activity at 7:43 p.m. Sept. 10, but found nothing out of the ordinary.

Highway Patrol

— Anastasia Shaw, Blair Road in Salineville, was cited at 6:38 a.m. Sept. 9 for improper turn at an intersection in Wayne Township, after allegedly striking a vehicle driven by Jocelyn Parrish, of Hazel Run Road in Salineville, while turning from state Route 164 onto Glasgow Road.

— Brayden JM Lambertson, of Wilson Street in Salineville, was cited at 10:34 p.m. Sept. 4 for failure to control in Wayne Township, after allegedly driving off the southbound lane of state Route 164, striking a fence and ditch.

— Keith Clipse, of Chamberlain Street in Negley, was cited at 3:37 p.m. Sept. 6 for failure to control in Middleton Township, after striking a guardrail when going off the northbound lane of state Route 170.

— Montana Virden, of state Route 518 in Lisbon, was cited at 11:13 a.m. Sept. 14 for failure to control in Wayne Township, after crossing the center line on Route 518 and going off the left side of the road, striking an utility pole and landing in a corn field.
