St. Clair Twp. Police Department to conduct speed studies
ST. CLAIR TOWNSHIP — Trustees announced during Monday’s meeting of the St. Clair Township Board of Trustees, that the St. Clair Township Police Department would begin conducting speed studies on Melbourne Avenue and Sidehill Road. Once those studies are complete the police department would continue with speed studies on other township roads.
Which roads will follow were not announced.
A representative from OTARMA attending the trustee meeting to review the township’s OTARMA renewal with the trustees. Although the renewal was on the agenda, the trustees tabled it for further review.
There were no reports from the police, fire or road departments and no old business to discuss or legislation to adopt.
Purchase orders totaling $5,555.62, super blanket certificates totaling $1,000 and bills totaling $67,562.85 were approved for payment.
The St. Clair Township Board of Trustees meets every other Monday at 4 p.m. at the St. Clair Government Building, 15442 Pugh Road, Calcutta. The next regular meeting will take place on Aug. 25.
