The Flintstones Flintmobile, entered by Jerry Enochs, drives down to the start of the parade lineup area Saturday past the Newell Community Center. This “flint mobile” had some of the modern conveniences that the original Cavemobile didn’t, like power steering, air conditioning and a floor. Judges for the Newell Fun Day awarded Enochs third place for his Flinstones-inspired entry, while Michelle Kordecky won for her Mario Party and Sherri Markham placed seocod with her Bikini Bottom-inspired float. This third annual Newell Fun Day also included a foam pit, inflatables, dunk tank, cornhole tournament, and live music. (Photo by Stephanie Ujhelyi)
