Woman, unborn child die after struck by car.
EAST LIVERPOOL (WKBN) — A pregnant woman and her unborn child are dead after being struck by a car in East Liverpool according to media partner WKBNoWoman.
It happened Saturday afternoon near Broadway Wharf.
East Liverpool police chief John Lane said 21-year-old Stephanie Householder and another person drove there together. When Householder got out of the car during an argument, the driver of the car backed up to leave, hitting Householder.
Householder was taken to a Pittsburgh hospital by helicopter, where she and her unborn child died.
Chief Lane says they’re working with the Columbiana County prosecutor’s office to file charges against the driver.
