The East Liverpool High School Class of 1980 will hold a weekend-long 45th reunion Sept. 26-28. Activities include a class tailgate party before a Potters football game in the front Westgate parking lot at 4 p.m. Friday. The event is BYOB, but bring a snack to share if you like. Classmates will need to buy their own tickets for the football game that night. After the game, a welcome party is planned at The Vault restaurant, 200 E. 5th St. (330-964-8380). There will be a cash bar, with no food included.
A golf scramble begins at 9:30 a.m. Saturday at Beaver Creek Meadows Golf Course, 12774 state Route 7, Lisbon. A continental breakfast will be served at 9 a.m. The fee of $50 per person includes greens fees, carts, prizes, and breakfast. Saturday concludes with a class reunion dinner at 5 p.m at Elks Lodge #258, 620 Broadway.
A farewell breakfast is planned at 9:30 a.m. Sunday at The Hot Dog Shoppe. Classmates buy their own breakfasts.
