Safety Service Director Bill Jones in his report that Rayl did a nice job settling the contract and they have some wonderful workers in all departments and different contracts through the departments mimic each and his goal is to try to keep the great employees that the city has. He noted that his main goal behind the contracts is to try to give the workers a little bit of a boost because he knows they work hard and are underpaid, and they do the best they can with what they have given the economy of the state. He also said they could make more money elsewhere, but they chose to stay in the city, and he really appreciates that.
Mayor Bobby Smith addressed statements made about homeless issues, parking issues and drug issues.
