LISBON — In Columbiana County Municipal Court, a pretrial was set May 15 for John Fisher, 21, North Market Street, Lisbon, charged with aggravated menacing for allegedly pulling a gun and pointing it at another man who asked him to slow down in a construction zone in East Palestine on May 5.

Fisher also started yelling at the other man, who witnesses said approached Fisher in a non-threatening manner to ask him to show down. Fisher admitted to pointing the gun at the other man and told police he was having a bad day.

A pretrial was set May 22 for William Gump, 34, West Taggart Street, East Palestine, charged with two counts of domestic violence for allegedly throwing items at a woman, striking her with a carpenter’s level and pushing her and also pushing and pulling another woman during an incident on May 5 in East Palestine.

A pretrial was set July 7 for Christopher Courtney, 19, Park Avenue, Salem, charged with domestic violence for allegedly assaulting a juvenile after a verbal dispute became physical and they assaulted each other on May 7 in Salem.

A pretrial was set July 15 for Barry Cooper, 69, U.S. Route 30, Lisbon, charged with domestic violence for allegedly assaulting a woman after an argument escalated. Both he and the woman had conflicting stories and both were injured. and charged.

A pretrial was set July 15 for Cynthia Miller, 68, East Lincoln Way, Lisbon, charged with domestic violence for allegedly assaulting a man after an argument escalated. Both she and the man had conflicting stories and both were injured and charged.

A pretrial was set May 22 for Joseph Mason, 41, listed as homeless, East Liverpool, charged with aggravated menacing for allegedly threatening to kill a woman on April 23 in East Liverpool.

John Peuterbaugh, 51, Woodland Avenue, Salem, was fined $200 and given a suspended 30-day jail term for disorderly conduct amended from domestic violence. He was ordered to complete 20 hours community service and to have no contact with the victim. He was accused of striking a woman in the head on Feb. 7.

Reese Frantz, 21, West Washington Street, Lisbon, was fined $550 and sentenced to 180 days in jail, with 170 days suspended and credit for one day served, leaving a balance of nine days to serve in jail for assault, criminal trespass and disorderly conduct amended from obstructing official business. He was ordered to complete 40 hours community service and to have no contact with the victim. Frantz was accused of striking a woman in Lisbon on July 15, 2024. On June 2, he remained at Shenanigan’s Pub and Grill in Lisbon after being told to leave and failed to stop after being ordered to by police.

Amanda Falkner, 36, North Shady Lane, East Liverpool, was fined $300 and given a suspended 60-day jail term for soliciting and driving under suspension for advertising sex acts for hire and arranging to meet an undercover officer in East Liverpool on Oct. 10, 2019, then showing up for the meeting.

Jeffrey Cornfield, 39, Curry Street, East Liverpool, was fined $200 and given a suspended 30-day jail term for disorderly conduct amended from theft. He was ordered to complete 20 hours community service and to stay out of the Calcutta Walmart. He failed to scan and pay for 19 items totaling $140.

Angel Robertson, 43, Moore Road, East Liverpool, was fined $250 and sentenced to 180 days in jail, with 179 days suspended and credit for one day served, for theft. She was ordered to complete 40 hours community service and to stay out of East Liverpool Giant Eagle. On Aug. 10. 2024, she stole three steaks from the East Liverpool Giant Eagle and concealed them in her purse.

Nathan Horn, 36, Akron, was fined $150 and received a suspended 90-day jail term for theft. He was ordered to complete 20 hours community service and was ordered to make restitution of $18 to the victim. On Feb. 5, he took a wallet that was left behind at Taco Bell.

Chance Beitler, 29, Alliance, was fined $150 for disorderly conduct for stumbling and being intoxicated in Salem on Feb. 22.

Multiple people were charged with criminal trespass for allegedly trespassing in a condemned house on Sophia Street in East Liverpool where the Columbiana County Drug Task Force was executing a search warrant on May 1, along with East Liverpool Police. The defendants and their pretrial dates include: William Barrett, 65 Sophia Street, East Livepool, July 31; Khbair Tisdale, 44, Minerva Street, East Liverpool, July 31; Shannelle Romano, 28, Riverview Street, East Liverpool, July 8; Megan Stofen, 30, Cleveland Avenue, East Liverpool, July 31; and Derek Thompson, 30, Chester Avenue, Wellsville, July 7. Thompson was also fined $130 for expired license and failure to control.

Linda Dapollonia, 44, Chester, W.Va., was fined $200 for drug paraphernalia for possessing a burnt pipe in East Liverpool on Feb. 5.

Michael Howard, 39, Youngstown, was fined $350 and sentenced to 90 days in jail, with 83 days suspended, leaving a balance of seven days to serve in jail for obstructing official business, drug paraphernalia and criminal trespass. Howard ran from police in East Liverpool, was caught and possessed four cut straws, a glass pipe, a small jar with a crystal-like substance and another jar containing a substance on May 6.

Robert Greene, 52, Youngstown, was fined $300 and given a 30-day suspended jail term for driving under suspension and drug paraphernalia. He was ordered to complete 20 hours community service. Greene possessed a rolled up plastic bag and a small spatula during a traffic stop in Columbiana on Aug. 2, 2024.

Andrew Conner, 36, Alliance, was fined $100 and sentenced to two days in jail, with credit for two days served, for drug paraphernalia for possessing a glass pipe with white powder residue on May 7 in Salem.

A pretrial was set July 1 for Frederick Kirby, 49, 13th Street, Wellsville, charged with possession of drug abuse instrument for allegedly possessing a loaded syringe while a passenger in a traffic stop on May 3 in East Liverpool.

A pretrial was set July 14 for Mark Hoops, 59, Goshen Road, Salem, charged with operating a vehicle impaired first offense, OVI breath first offense and marked lanes.

Andrew Conoboy, 21, North Lincoln Avenue, Salem, was fined $1,295 and sentenced to 180 days in jail, with 160 days suspended, leaving a balance of 20 days still to serve in jail for OVI, no seat belt and marked lanes. His license was suspended for one year and he was ordered to complete 40 hours community service.

A pretrial was set July 31 for Adam Olzak Jr., 27, McCormick Run Road, Salineville, charged with driving under suspension.

Emanuel Johnson, 45, Henrico, Va., was found not guilty of use of local street/truck violation.

A pretrial was set July 29 for Cody Crawford, 32, Arch Street, Salem, charged with speeding.

A charge of driving while texted was dismissed against John Barkey, 61, Homestead Drive, Columbiana, who completed a distracted driving safety course.
