LISBON — Gabryelle Deitch is the Columbiana County Career and Technical Center’s April Student of the Month. She is a senior from Southern Local Jr/Sr High School and is enrolled in the Landscape and Environmental Design (LED) Program under the instruction of Joshua Ludwig.

Gabryelle is a member of the FFA Chapter at the CCCTC, and as a member of the CCCTC’s chapter of the National Technical Honor Society, she serves as treasurer. At Southern Local, she is a member of the marching band, the bowling team, and the National Honor Society. Gabryelle also sees the importance of serving your community and volunteers her time at the Wellsville Fire Department and the Wellsville First Christian Church.

She has earned certifications in OSHA-10 and Ohio Certified Nursery Technician – Landscape. Gabryelle has a dual goal of pursuing both of her passions. She intends to continue working at the fire department and obtain her FF1 (120 hr), FF2 (240 hr), EMS, and Paramedic certifications. She also plans to work for a landscape company. Her long-term goal is to work in both fields while being able to purchase a home and raise a family.

Gabryelle stated, “I chose the CCCTC not only for the fantastic greenhouse, equipment, and landscape program but also for the challenges that the academic teachers give the students.”

Gabryelle was nominated by Ludwig, who stated, “Gabby was chosen for her exceptional dedication to learning and passion for Landscape Design. She consistently demonstrates creativity, problem-solving skills, and a strong work ethic, which will serve her well in the industry. Her keen eye for design, attention to detail, and ability to think critically about planning and sustainability make her stand out.”

Gabryelle is the daughter of Scott and Pam Deitch.
