Search warrant nets weapons, drugs, cash in Salineville home

SALINEVILLE -- The Columbiana County Drug Task Force executed a search warrant Monday at 74 W. Main St., Salineville, locating weapons, cash and drugs, including 15 grams of methamphetamine.
County Sheriff Brian McLaughlin announced the the outcome of the search in a press release on social media Tuesday, noting the sheriff's office assisted the DTF in the execution of the search warrant.
Agents encountered one resident, along with Charles "Greg" Wilson, who was taken into custody due to active warrants out of Carroll County and the state of Georgia.
Further charges are pending lab results.
The search yielded five firearms, $557 in cash, roughly 15 grams of methamphetamine, roughly 1 gram of crack cocaine, and paraphernalia indicative of drug trafficking.
The DTF thanked the county Sheriff's Office, county Prosecutor's Office, Salem Police Department, Lisbon Police Department, Columbiana Police Department, East Liverpool Police Department, St. Clair Township Police Department, and Perry Township Police Department for their cooperation and assistance in this investigation.
