The East Liverpool High School construction class and art department recently partnered with the East Liverpool Rotary Club to help rebuild and paint The Little Free Library at Thompson Park. The new library was recently installed and replaced the old box near the entrance of the park. The high school construction class under the guidance of their teacher, Frank Fisher, graciously took on the project following some weathering damage to the previous box. The class built two little libraries, while the art department took charge of the decorating. The new library at the park has a nature theme. The students who built the boxes were John Weyand and Kamdin Miller. Those who did the artwork were Sam Mouse and Alannah Detillion. The second box will be installed at a school location.
