Southern Local Elementary students invited loved ones to enjoy a meal during the third annual Special Persons Breakfast April 23-25, which included three days of classes breaking bread with parents, grandparents and siblings. About 150 people took part in the preschool and kindergarten classes the first day, roughly 280 people including first- and second-graders on the second day; and another 280 people including third through fifth-grades on the final day. Officials said it was very successful and both the elementary and junior/senior high school cafeterias were filled on the latter two days.
