COMMUNITY CLEAN-UP DAY IN WELLSVILLE

1 min read

The Beaver Creek Area Association of Realtors (BCAAR), in partnership with the Wellsville Foundation and local community members, organized a successful community clean-up day in Wellsville on May 11. About 20 volunteers gathered to participate in the clean-up, targeting key areas such as downtown Wellsville and the Veterans Memorial. Activities included trash pickup and landscaping, all aimed at improving the local environment and fostering community spirit. "We are thrilled with the community's response and the tangible impact of our efforts," said James Clark, President of the Beaver Creek Area Association of Realtors. "This event not only beautifies the town but also strengthens our bond with the community." Participants included Wellsville Mayor Bob Boley and Councilmen Aaron Smith, Ryan Burgess, Bill Taft and local teachers who joined hands with residents to make a difference. The combined efforts resulted in a cleaner, more welcoming downtown and a rejuvenated Veterans Memorial. Plans are already underway for future clean-up events, with the aim of continuing to enhance Wellsville's public spaces and promote community involvement. Interested individuals are encouraged to join future efforts. For more details on this event or to get involved, Clark at 330-708-4120. (Submitted photo)
