Five members of the Calcutta Lions Club rang the bell for the Salvation Army Saturday at Busy Beaver along with members of the Beaver Local Leo Club. The sound of the Salvation Army bell is not just the sound of a bell, but the sound of Christmas for a child, curing hunger and for a safe place to sleep for some. Every penny collected in the community helps those in the community. The Salvation Army Red Kettle campaign has been a Christmas tradition since 1891 and the club could not be more proud to be a part of the project.
