WELLSVILLE -- Buckeye Water District Board of Trustees approved a 4 percent base wage increase to be adjusted for longevity and compensation for all the district's employees. The wage increase will go into effect Dec. 31. The resolution was adopted with a six to zero vote. Richard Williams and Timothy O'Hara were absent, and Paul Bahen abstained.

The board also adopted with an all-in-favor vote a resolution giving the district the authorization to retain Attorney Frederick Emmerling to provide legal services for the district. It was noted that this was to allow the rate adjustment for Emmerling from $175 an hour to $200 and hour, to be billed monthly.

The Treasurer's Report, Operations Report and District Manager's Report were all accepted and approved with all-in-favor votes.

No one requested to address the board during the public session and there were no committee reports given.
