A Special Person’s Breakfast at Southern Local Elementary

1 min read

Southern Local Elementary students had a chance to share a meal with loved ones during a Special Person's Breakfast Tuesday through Thursday. Principal Emily Brinker said the event, which has been held for three years, drew about 250 to 300 people each day in the elementary and high school cafeterias while school administrators and staff doled out French toast sticks, eggs and more. Activities were conducted for preschool through first-grade classes on Tuesday, second- and third-graders on Wednesday and fourth- and fifth-graders on Thursday with more breakfasts set for the spring.
