ELHS FRENCH CLUB VISITS PITTSBURGH CURLING CLUB

The East Liverpool High School Alumni Scholarship Foundation provided a donation to help the ELHS French Club visit the Pittsburgh Curling Club. Curling is a sport in which players slide stones on a sheet of ice toward a target area which is segmented into four concentric circles. It is related to bowls, boules, and shuffleboard. Even though curling started in Scotland, it made its way to Quebec, gained popularity, and spread through the rest of Canada. Today, 80-90% of the world’s curlers are Canadian.
