LISBON -- A Wellsville man who found his way into the home of Mayor Nancy Murray in September pleaded guilty to trespass in a habitation, a fourth-degree felony charge, on Wednesday in Common Pleas Court.
Jonathan M. Pullie, 46, of Broadway, is facing up to 18 months in prison and a fine of $5,000. Assistant County Prosecutor Alec Beech said he will request Judge Megan Bickerton consider a 14-month prison term.
Sentencing is scheduled for Sept. 27 and a pre-sentencing investigation was requested from the probation department. His defense attorney, Jennifer Gorby, is expected to ask for less time or community control.
Pullie was accused of entering Murray's 10th Street home on Sept. 19 while she was asleep on the couch. Her dog began barking and she awoke to find Pullie standing over her.
According to police at the time, Murray screamed and Pullie then fled from the house. She was able to identify him. He was transported to a local hospital for medical treatment due to the appearance he may have been under the influence of narcotics at the time.
