Boy Scout Troop 43 scoutmaster Michael Wood oversaw the annual Pinewood Derby Saturday morning. The two test cars in front of his computer saw action early on in the event, after they had to make some repairs to one of the tracks after the initial heat of competition for Arrows competitors. Due to the pandemic, masks and touchless temperature checks were required of all guests who attended in person; however, numbers were down among competitors from 50 to 17, although some were able to attend virtually Wood added.
