Road closed signs greet travelers to the area of East Fourth Street and Broadway, where work continued Saturday morning on the Ohio Department of Transportation project. The Mary Patterson Building of Kent State University's East Liverpool Campus and the Carnegie Public Library stand on the right. According to Mayor Greg Bricker, the project includes the restoration of Fourth Street's brick paver street from Market and Broadway, construction of new sidewalks, crosswalks, street lighting, drainage improvement, waterline replacement and Americans With Disabilities-compliant ramps.
