East Liverpool High School announced today eight students received the industry recognized Microsoft Office Specialist (MOS) certification in Microsoft Word to help them become college and career ready. The MOS certification is recognized globally as the premier credential to validate knowledge, skills and abilities relating to the Microsoft Office applications. With the MOS certification, employees will have skills that every employer needs, allowing them to meet the goals of the company.

According to Mr. Jonathan Ludwig, Superintendent, “The Microsoft Office Specialist program gives our students in-demand technology skills that not only improve their desktop computing proficiency immediately, they also improve their workforce readiness and put them above the pack when looking for a job. MOS certification may be the credential that helps you stand out from the other candidates. And Microsoft Office skills follow you, making you more marketable as you move up the career ladder.”
