Recently the Museum of Ceramics was awarded $332,500 in state capital appropriations funds. According to museum director Susan Weaver, this money will fund improvements to the Museum of Ceramics building, including cleaning and repainting the exterior, interior lighting, general repairs to the interior plaster and remodeling of the interior spaces. The Museum of Ceramics, which is located at the corner of Fifth Street and Broadway in the former city post office, is operated by the Museum of Ceramics Foundation and the Ohio History Connection (formerly known as the Ohio Historical Society).
