Lisbon meat market changing hands

LISBON — Borza’s Meat Market is changing names and owners, according to a social media post by Sonja and Kevin Coe.

The couple, which formally operated the market in Winona, recently purchased the long-time business from John Borza and will take over starting Jan. 4. The business will be renamed the Coezy Meat Market.

“Those of you who know can expect the same great service we always gave our customers,” the Coes wrote. “John Borza built a great market over the years and we are just continuing on where he is leaving off. Everyone can count on the same great service and high quality products you have grown to love.”

Borza’s Meat Market is located in the Lisbon Plaza and has been in business for more than 40 years. The entire staff is being retained by the Coes, who say they will be adding new products.

Starting at $2.99/week.
