Route 11 accident

A man was life-flighted after a two car accident on state Route 11. The accident was about a quarter mile away from the Route 7 exit. A Nissan Xterra rear ended a Hyundai Tuscan, around 5:40 p.m. on Monday. St. Clair Police Department Patrolman Josh Jackson reported the driver of the Xterra was at fault, and was life flighted from the the Beaver Local Athletic Complex. Jackson was unsure which medical center the driver was transported to, no other injuries were reported at this time. The accident is under investigation, Jackson reported the driver of the Xterra claimed he fell asleep. St. Clair Police were assisted by Calcutta, Glenmoor and North Star EMS, and Calcutta Towing.
