Saturday is National Prescriptions Drug Take-Back Day

National Prescription Drug Take-Back Day, sponsored by the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA), will be held in communities across America, including Columbiana County, Saturday to raise awareness about the dangers of prescription drug abuse. ODOT proposes SR 11 resurfacing in early 2027

AKRON – The Ohio Department of Transportation (ODOT) proposes to resurface nearly 8.5 miles of state Route 11 from the Columbiana County line north to the U.S. Route 224/state Route 11 interchange in Canfield and Beaver townships. The project also proposes to resurface the ramps associated with the state Route 46/state Route 11 interchange. Additionally, the project proposes maintenance on 11 bridges along state Route 11 within the resurfacing limits. The $7,087,000 project is estimated to begin construction early in 2027.
