East Liverpool trash collection on Veterans Day
Trash will be collected from East Liverpool residences on Wednesday, Nov. 11. The refuse department employees are scheduled to work on Veterans Day. Residents whose trash is normally collected on Wednesday are asked to have their trash set out at the curb for pick up as usual. Trash service on any of the city routes will not be affected by the national holiday; however, city hall offices will be closed in its observance. The parade to honor veterans begins at 11 a.m. on Walnut Street, and Mayor Bobby Smith will give closing remarks on the steps of city hall.
