EAST LIVERPOOL - Twenty-two alumni and four guests from the East Liverpool High School Class of 1956 gathered recently to celebrate the 70th anniversary of their graduation. A buffet dinner catered by L&B Donuts was held on Saturday, Oct. 10, at the ELHSAA Clock Tower.
Guests traveled from as far away as Maryland and Ohio towns Uniontown, Swanton, Youngstown, Boardman, Columbiana, Negley and East Liverpool.
A gift of a homemade afghan was given to the person who traveled the furthest.
Elaine Barber Green gave the prayer before the meal.
The reunion planning committee included Ruth Ann Baumgard Bosworth, Bob Wines, Ann Presutti Palmer, Margaret Van Dyke O'Hanlon and Thelma Stacey Lockhart.
