The East Liverpool Masonic Lodge will be presenting the Daniel Carter Beard Award to Troop 2012 Scout Master and Master Mason Michael McGown at a ceremony and dinner to be held on Saturday, Sept. 12. The Daniel Carter Beard Masonic Scouter Award is a national recognition given to Master Masons who present outstanding service to youth through Scouting. The evening will begin with a meet and greet at 5 p.m. followed by the ceremony at 6 p.m. and conclude with a roast beef dinner at 7 p.m. Reservations are required.
