First Baptist Wellsville will celebrate its 115th year church anniversary on Sunday, Aug. 23. This year's theme is "Great is Thy Faithfulness: 115 years of God's Faithfulness." The morning worship service will begin at 11 a.m. with Pastor Patricia Williams of Lee Sheridan AME delivering the message. The celebration will conclude with an afternoon service starting at 4 p.m. The speaker is Rev. Rodney Maiden, pastor of Providence Baptist in Cleveland. He is the son of the late Rev. John Maiden, who was a former pastor of First Baptist Wellsville. Rev. Dr. Roylin Petties III and the First Baptist family invites the community to join the celebration. (Submitted photo)
